Tuesday, June 26          11:30AM

State Room Brewery and Kitchen, 1132 4th Street (between A and B Streets)

This restaurant is a great new discovery for our Lunch Out ladies! It is a family friendly place with a locally sourced kitchen, crafted beer and other bar drinks. The kitchen uses local produce and meats from farms in Petaluma, Bolinas, Pt. Reyes, Tomales and Nicasio. Bakery goods are from Basque Boulangerie in Sonoma and Della Fattoria in Petaluma. When Mitzi and I went to check this place out, several repeat customers said the “food is heavenly.” We agree. Looking forward to having lunch with you.

RSVP to Val Stilson at 415-479-1439 or

Thursday, June 28     2:00PM

San Rafael Villages is starting a Book Club! It is open to members and volunteers and everyone is welcome to bring a friend. This first meeting will be held at Karen Gray’s home in Terra Linda.

Each month another member will host the event in your home. Hosting duties will be minimal: offering your home, simple beverages and refreshments. The book to be read before we get together is the delightful COLD SASSY TREE by Olive Ann Burns.
This is an older book and several copies are at the library; there are also used copies available on the Internet.

Please RSVP to Karen at or 714-403-3345.
If this appeals to you but the timing is wrong, please let Karen know your interest anyhow.
