Guest Speaker: Sara Oser presents “Tips for Communicating in the Hearing-Loss World

Join us for Novato Village’s monthly coffee. We provide complimentary coffee, tea and treats at this cozy and welcoming meeting spot in central Novato. 

At 11 a.m. our guest speaker, Sara Oser, a College of Marin Instructor and co-founder and leader of Hearing Loss Association of America North Bay Chapter (a non-profit organization), will share her own personal hearing loss story. 

Whether you hear well or are struggling with hearing loss, you will learn practical tips on how to communicate better with someone who has hearing loss.  You will also learn rules; how to set their stage; project their communication; and establish empathy.  This will be an interactive presentation.

We have a great time getting to know each other at this cozy and welcoming meeting spot in central Novato.  The coffee, tea and treats are yummy, and the chat is even better.  It’s fun to hear one another’s stories…how people came to settle in California (or why natives remained here)…new and old interests that folks are exploring…how spouses met….funny encounters, etc.   Join us and share your story!  …bring a friend!

Directions: 101 north to San Marin exit, left on San Marin Dr., left on Redwood Blvd., right on Pinheiro Circle.

Parking:  Street parking is available on Pinheiro Circle past the Club House and also on Redwood Blvd.

Please avoid parking in designated resident spaces.
