Tour of Native Plant Nursery

Civic Center, by the Marin Lagoon

Join us for a fun morning of learning about native plants! Set in a lovely, shaded garden, the County's Nursery grows native plants to be used in habitat restoration projects and pollinator gardens throughout Marin.  Aja, the nursery manager, will provide a tour of the nursery, and an engaging talk about how native plants support the life around us and delight us with their color, textures and smells.  We will get our hands dirty by cleaning seeds of sweet smelling sage to support the nursery's operations and get up close and personal with the plants ourselves. The pathways are accessible for folks in walkers, etc.
