A nisse is a Scandinavian elf that protects your home or farm. A Julenisse is a Christmas elf that visits your home and asks for only a bowl of porridge with a pat of butter. He will protect your home and farm for the next year. He brings small gifts for your family. His existence pre-dates Santa Claus in the US. He has been protecting homes in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland for centuries. You can put him on your Christmas tree, a shelf in your home, or give him to friends to wish them a safe year to come. Join us to make your own!
· Make a nisse or two from Fimo (oven-bake clay that is provided).
· Limited to only 6 people each day. Cost: $5 per nisse, all supplies and tools will be provided.
· If you want to make more than 2, you can take supplies home to make more on your own. Just let me know how many, and I’ll be sure to order enough supplies.
· If someone wants to come both days, I’ll keep a waiting list for the second day, and contact you if there is space.
RSVP: call or email to Sue Lyttle: suelyttle@comcast.net or (650) 799-6900. Please make a reservation soon so I can be sure to order enough supplies. They make great little gifts! Call me if you have questions.
