Mill Valley Village is a place to belong, to connect with old and new friends. Our more than 100 local volunteers, your neighbors, couple old-fashioned neighborliness with modern know-how to provide a wide range of programs and valuable benefits to fellow villagers as well as to the broader Mill Valley community.
Announcing A New Village Program
Spirit Rock - First Thursday Afternoons
Mill Valley Villagers (members, volunteers and friends) are invited to join us at the Mill Valley Golf Course Clubhouse
for a new monthly program featuring video talks from the world famous Spirit Rock Center.
These talks will be featured the first Thursday afternoon of the month in:
May, June, September, October and November this year.
As many of you know, Marin County is fortunate to have the wonderful Spirit Rock Meditation Center so close by. The center offers many innovative programs. Among them is a Monday evening meditation program followed by a speaker, often a bestselling author or luminary in their field. These sessions are attended by many participants at Spirit Rock, but they are also "live-streamed" so that those who cannot make it to the center may watch and listen. The folks at Spirit Rock have kindly supported our interest in making some of the talks available for a group of villagers to watch together.

A New Collaboration With the Library
We are excited to announce a new partnership between Mill Valley Village and our amazing Mill Valley Library!
Through this collaboration we aim to bring together two very vibrant parts of our community to craft programs of general interest to many of us, young and old. We will touch on aspects of aging, science, and practical matters, among others, presenting programs designed to inspire, provide information, and cut across generations.
We owe special thanks to Anji Brenner, City Librarian, for spearheading this joint effort!
And with that background, we are pleased to announce an encore presentation of our first collaboration:
Plan Well, Live Well, Die Well – A Workshop
Saturday, May 18th, 2 – 3:30
Creekside Room, Mill Valley Library
This simple yet powerful 90-minute workshop aims to help individuals, families and communities talk more openly about planning, living and dying well. It is designed to help reduce the fear and uncertainty often associated with navigating end-of-life and helps people connect to what matters most.
